Leadership and Workshops

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have had great role models, mentors, and influences to help shape my career path. I worked on a ton of projects throughout my time at UC Riverside as well as held many leadership positions, whether it was for student government or the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA).

I have held the following leadership positions:

  • Elected CHASS Senator for the Associated Students of UC Riverside (ASUCR), Student Government
  • Director of Professional Development for the ALPFA UC Riverside
  • Director of Finance for UCR’s School of Business
  • Ambassador on the Board of Directors for ALPFA Orange County Professional Chapter
  • Social Media Content Creator for ALPFA Nationals
  • Nationals Ambassador Lead for ALPFA Nationals

Through these positions, I worked on different projects and workshops that helped impact students, whether it was regarding LinkedIn or career development.

After college, I wanted to do my best to pay it forward and help students and job-seekers be successful in their careers. To this day, I have lead about 22 workshops at different universities including UC Berkeley, UC Riverside, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and Biola University. I helped start the webinar series called “Digital Career Conversations” in collaboration with UC Riverside, which has professionals at different companies go over topics that can help UCR alumni learn more about desired fields. Through my workshops, I developed a personal brand which has helped me not only network but inspire others to reach their own dreams and aspirations. I also was recognized by LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner in one of my workshops I did at Concordia Irvine University and have helped over 1,000 students/job-seekers with their own careers, which I hope to continue doing in the near future.

My workshops/panels have included the following:
